Terms of Use
Last updated
These terms govern your use of pie-chart-maker.com. They are short and in plain language, because the service is simple and the terms should match.
The service
Pie Chart Maker is a browser-based tool for creating charts. Making and downloading charts is free and requires no account. We aim to keep the site fast, working, and available, but we provide it as-is, without warranties, and we may change or discontinue features.
Your charts are yours
You own the charts you create and the data you put into them. Exported charts can be used for anything: personal, educational, or commercial use, with no attribution required. We claim no rights over your work, and since your chart data never reaches our servers, we could not exercise any.
Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully and normally. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the service, probe it for vulnerabilities beyond good-faith responsible disclosure, or scrape it at abusive volumes. Do not use charts made here to present fabricated data as genuine in contexts designed to defraud people. Chart responsibly.
No warranties, limited liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for any particular purpose. Charts you create depend on data you supply; verifying the accuracy of your numbers is your responsibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site, including lost data. Remember that saved charts live in your browser’s storage, which your device and browser control, not us. Anything important should also be exported.
Third-party services
The site uses Google Analytics 4, subject to your consent choice, as described in the privacy policy. No other third party is involved in the core service.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, the date above changes, and material changes will be noted plainly on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the updated terms.
